Niihama Kita High School
Niihama Kita High School is a private school in Dazaifu, Fukuoka, Japan. Like most schools in Japan it was a single-gender institution (girls) until the current year where a separate wing now houses a small number of boys-only classes. Internally all classes are still gender-segregated.
NKHS attracts students from the wealthier segments of the corporate and government sector and is known for ‘indulging’ the varied interests of its students. It also provides scholarships for select girls with Special Talents, aka magicians and spiritualists. The student body is predominately human with some elves but no other demi-humans or hybrids. The curriculum is broader and more comprehensive than most public schools as its graduates are expected to maintain a combination of high scholastic achievement as well as mastering a wide variety of practical business and bureaucratic subjects. As a result the students of NKHS are better informed about international subjects and events than most of their peers from other public-sector schools.
